Anderson, Former Hackensack Boy, Missing in Action- Son of Artist Newell, of Leonia, Killed in Action. Schoonmaker, of River-road, Teaneck, but as he had lived in Hakcensack for several years "Ted" was regarded as a Heckensack boy. The family moved to Hackensack from Arcola, and for a considerable time "Ted" was employed as a clerk in the local District Court. He was engaged in the automobile business in Brooklyn when the Mexican Border trouble started and reenlisted in Company G and served on the border as sergeant. He had first joined Company G in 1912. |
